1. I was informed that the payment would be coming in the next week /after/ she had already purchased the dress, rather than same-day. This is fine, but it should be agreed upon upfront.
2. Payment was delayed a few days after the already belated payment date, and with no notice.
I would probably be more lenient if she had not expressly stated the payment date and then went back on this, or had contacted me upon learning that there would be a delay of payment. I had to contact the buyer for information of what the reason was for the delayed payment, which should be the other way around.
Polite and genial in conversation, my only caution to buyers+sellers is that there may be delays or lapses in communication.
